I agree, this is perfect vampire anime film! For some period of my life I was literally nuts for any kind of vampire movies (silent films, black and white, classic with Lugosi or Christopher Lee) so I accidentally saw this one. I was intereseted to see some animated movie about vampires. I must say that I didn't saw Blood + or Blood - C, and I have no intention to watch that because I lost my interest to see more vampire series or films. Blood the last vampire is not very long, only 48 minutes but it's awesome, it keep your attention from beginning to the end. Exciting bloody scenes are very nice animated, it have also tense horror moments and dark tond of gore. Main character, anti - heroine Saya is beautiful! This anime movie is better than some regular non animated vampire movie! So if you a fan of anime and vampire than you must watch this!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
