At first when I began watching this anime, I was like - clueless. Almost everything gets answered in the first two episodes and the fun begins in the 3rd episode. Some episodes are scary and funny, but not that funny <--no offence.
However, the good side to this anime is that it focuses on the story and captures the audience's attention. Especially when they introduce you to new things.
Animation: As you can see from the cover, it's not like the ordinary anime drawings you see in every pro anime. It's quite simple and it suits this anime.
Some parts of this anime is strange as love also develops quite quickly -> love at first sight?
I wouldn't say all those 'must-watch' words, but I think it's a good anime for me and hope you enjoy :]
Oh and when you get to episode 14, it's not a filler [im guessing] there's important info in there. :3 (show less)

Dennou Coil is a great anime but not for everyone!

It is not everyone cup of tea. To watch this one you need to activate your imagination and some computer science basics!

The anime plot is one of the captivating plots you may see. Imagine that the cyber space (Internet) is around you and everywhere! You can access it whenever and wherever you like, in your neighborhood, around the corner, in the house and in your room.

And surprisingly you do not need a laptop to access; you just need a pair of glasses!

I think most of us like to collect anime, and for me I just keep the best, those anime that I will want to watch again. And Dennou Coil is in top of my list! (show less)

Just a great anime! It doesn't get more creative, imaginative, or original than this.
What starts as a kids show expands into an adventure similarly of Avatar: The Last Airbender especially its animation, which is simple yet detailed. A show for all ages and A show for ages to come.

I wish that I could erase all of my memories and start a new, so that I can watch the first episode of Dennou Coil and have the same reactions that I had when I was first completely blown away.

Everyone has seen Death Note and knows how great it is, so why do people need to say it again, on the contrary why is no one talking about this show.

(Some mystery, technology, sci fi, a bit of action and laser beams, and a whole lot of adventure), almost as it was from Miyazaki
