A few years after the adventures of the Digidestined in the Digital World, a new batch of Chosen Children are summoned to save the Digital World. The main cast is plain and has absolutely no chemistry. The few interesting characters have about one or two episodes of character development. The entire plot could have been aborted at nearly any time had the characters confronted the source of the current problems instead of just the problems. Couple this with a very anticlimactic ending and you get a sludge of mediocrity.

The plot was nice, but the characters, compared to Digimon Adventure , are not so good. Digimon 02 has some new cool digimon with lots of different transformations.( evolutions )

One of the best anime at the time it aired, well in my opinion anyway. Season one was just as awesome, loved it as we much as the second. Truly was worth the watch, maybe even a second or third time as well.

Great sequel to an already great anime. New digimon, new way of digi-volving, new plot. All awesome in my opinion. A request to ElderChaos22009 : Thanks for providing the dub of Adventure 01, could you please do the same for Adventure 02 and the rest of the series?

This was a very good continuation of the first season. New characters, new Digimon, Takeru (TK) and Hikari (Kari) grown up (lol) and the Armor-Evolution was a pretty good idea. Still, the storyline could have been a little better. The reason is that in the mid episodes (24-30) there wasn't any major villain, just Archenmon (Arukenimon) creating Adult (Champion) and Perfect (Ultimate) Digimon who the new Adult-levels and Paildramon beat up. When BlackWarGreymon appeared, though, the series became more interesting. The part with Demon (Daemon) could ( read more)

you got to love the this anime. it is a great follow up to the first sesen. there's a love interest tho it is a little more comedic but still cute. and the fusion evolutions expressly v-mon's final one looks very cool

Yes! The makers of Digimon have opened the second season of Digimon with nothing but disappointment after disappointment! You'd think that with the excellent closing and storyline of the First Season that the sequel will be just as devastatingly great. It's not, without spoiling the story too much, all I can say is that the disabling of the first set of Digi-Destined heroes was a great mistake. It brought me to tears that the original Digi-destined whom I hoped would have greater digi-Evolutions or stronger digimon brought to an almost useless state ( read more)
