How to differentiate Hentai and Ecchi

1. Hentai = full coverage of boobs + censored down there

2. Ecchi = partial view of boobs + panty shots - full coverage of down there

Reason why animes are categorized into this 2 category is becas:
A. Hentai are for adults who are over 21 years old to watch with sex scene like pornographic. If you are asking why Japanese are into cartoon based porn, well, they just like 2Ds and which calls them weirdo also pronounced as Hentai in Japanese.

B. Ecchi are for those who are in teenage stage ranging from 16 years old and above. Cas in Japanese society, it is normal for Japanese boys to be obsess with boobs so, Ecchi plays a part in their life as well. Actually Ecchi is defined more accurately as cheeky and it does not include sex scenes like porn. So, it more basely on entertainment and not sexual desire. You won't get wet watching Ecchi animes or else you are a Hentai (weirdo)

Finally, I'd say that High School of the Dead is amazing anime. Those who are zombie lovers, those that plays Left4Dead, this anime is suitable for you. Those that claim this as Hentai, this anime en't suitable for you. ^^
