This anime could be soooo much better. Don't get me wrong the manga for princess resurrection is awesome but the anime, not so much. They Have cut out most of the strong points from the story (along with most of the violence) and left the parts that would not offend small children. As well as this they have replaced one of the main themes of the story! The story goes that in the 1st chapter of the manga (I'm not really spoiling anything here its literally the first thing that happens) the main character (Hiro) dies but is revived by drinking the blood of the royal princess (who is named Hime XD) and must continue to drink her blood in order to survive. In the anime this is replaced by some weird flame of life that she admisters (I know thats essentially what happens in the manga but the fact that they've cut that tiny amount of blood out shows what kind of audience they're aiming this at).

Truthfully I don't know if anyone will be as dissapointed with this as I was but if you have read the manga(Which I would seriously recomend to anyone who hasn't) you probably won't enjoy this.

*Also if anyone didn't get the joke about the princess being called Hime, Hime is japanese for princess. (show less)

Most people know this anime through the popular manga "Princess Ressurection" (but i still don't know why it's soo popular -.-')...either way this is the perfect exemple of a censored anime. They cut a lot of scenes of the manga...the blood, the deaths, the main theme is also replaced (instead of the "blood of immortality" it's the "flame..." WTF?!?).

This anime is made for under age kids, that are susceptible to violence, blood or even "bakemonos"...it's truly sad what they've done with the story, they cut most of the parts that makes this interesting...(fortunately Hime is there lol)

BUT STILL, i love~~ Hime personality :p it's not a great story, but still the manga is a bit interesting...read the manga, forget the anime! (show less)
