| Summary: |
God abandoned the world on Sunday. As a result, nobody in the world can die or reproduce. A little girl, Ai, is the gravekeeper for a village. She has prepared 47 graves for the eventual deaths of every member of the village. Later, a boy who identifies himself as "Hampnie Hambart, the 'Man-eating Toy'," which is coincidentally the name that Ai's mother left behind as the name of her father, arrives in the village and slaughters everybody. Just what is going on? |

shit! so.. hic.. hic... damn... AMAZING anime!!!
so much mental blow... hic.. hic...
and the ending songs is so perfect! I nearly cried, bawl my eyes out like a baby when Ai bury her father. and the scene with Alice is amazing!!
even if sometimes I get annoyed with Ai because of her naive thinking, but she just 12 years old. innocent is their nature.. hic.. hic..

this anime states or actually shows the reality of the world is coming to,
I mean what if God actually left us on our own,
what would happen,
this anime actually displays how the world would be unbalanced,
like humans having immortality, no reproduction, being undead but is able to live as a human in which they have to search on a particular being that is a grave keeper,
in order to have eternal rest.
the first episode had got me hooked,
the art, music theme, the setting is just so indescribable,
it so unique and it actually fits the ( read more)

An excellent anime with a completely different storyline than we used to seeing. Its not focused on action even though there is a little but the story itself and how you connect to it emotionally is superb.

Its the best anime in this season.Not comedy nor action but tragic.I can guarantee tears will try to come out at ep 3 if u have feelings.
Also Main Char is superb cute (though she is a child) airhead.
And the ending song is awesome.
