I enjoyed the anime...but a lot of it came straight from slam dunk, the characters, their personalities, even the team itself, even some jokes. It annoyed me a little tbh. :/

Kuroko no Basuke
Kuroko.......Kagami........Shadow and Light........Basketball, the way you want, in an anime.
The story is overall excellent with great animation, for an entertainment factor that is high. The dialogue is a bit underdone or overdone depending on your personal outlook, but not to bad either way, even if it does drag the show down just a tad in my opinion.
Kuroko no Basuke Season 1 delivers one basket after another, with an almost shounen feel.
This is how sports anime should be. Definitely worth checking out from the ( read more)

I am not that into sports anime, so kinda hesitate to watch at first. I was expecting typical story of a main character that is strong and keep on winning any match that he is participating, but this anime turn out to have more than that. the animation during the match is good, and the story keep me guessing who will win in the end. The generations of miracle is ridiculously strong, but they're cool (for me, at least ^^)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
