The story is set in a world embroiled by war between Humans and Demons. The Humans' greatest hero invades the Demon Queen's castle determined to vanquish her. However, instead of fighting back, the Queen proposes an alliance with the Hero. She explains how a sudden end to the war can bring further chaos to the world as the Humans once united to stand against their common enemies would eventually begin fighting among themselves, with similar issues already occurring at the Demon Realm. Convinced by her words, the Hero joins forces with the Queen and together they execute a plan to bring prosperity and a lasting peace to both Humans and Demons alike.

Dunno if i'm the only one who disliked this serie since all the reviews are good but this anime is really boring!
I can say the dialogue and animation are excellent though. In just 5 episodes, already 1 year have passed. The story is so fast without action. Everyone is like: "You are the demon king? Lets be friend". At first, i was like "war between human and demon, one hero went alone to kill the demon king" I'm no expert but this anime will be badass and epic. not.
The war between demon and human doesn't even have any action. It all seem so ( read more)

The war between demon and human doesn't even have any action. It all seem so much easy for the human and finish it under 5-10 minutes.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
