Hiromichi Kojima, the star batter of the Lycaons, heads to Okinawa to train and bring himself out of a slump. There, he meets Toua Tokuchi, a 134-kmph/83 mph pitcher and the undisputed king of a gambling form of baseball called "One Out." At Kojima's urging, Tokuchi signs up with the Lycaons. His contract differs form the usual, though, in that he gets 5,000,000 yen for every out he pitches, but loses 50,000,000 yen for every point he gives up. |

This anime is worth seeing. Action all the time kept in suspense, and the main character is not depicted as a person with only good sides but just as a guy looking for a profit. This anime is not just for fans of baseball, but also (and especially) for people who like intellectual puzzles, because in this anime, there are manyof it, watching it I spent really nice time.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
