Summary:
Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King. One pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil's Fruit and gained rubber powers. Now he and his crew are off to find One Piece, while battling enemies and making new friends along the way.
It takes a hour to download an episode, why is that? the quality is good but until it doesn't take an hour to download I am rating this poorly.

One piece is like the grand-line.... Outrages and unpredictable, tedious and funny, terrorble in a good and bad way. But one thing is clear Luffy is gona be pirate king. ;D

pros
+ complex story, yet adventure sense and random fun make it suitable for kids as well
+ charas have personality
+ unique art and good animation for its time
cons
- clichéd concept (pirates searching for a treasure? no c'mon)
- way too long, getting dragged more and more
- seems childish in parts (rubber fruit, luffy's behavior...)
conclusion: actually, the manga's pretty good if you've got a thing for the general idea (check out the summary) and don't mind old art. however, the anime - pretty good in the beginning, but got dragged (read more)

Honestly, it's not THAT bad but really... The day One Piece fans learn that there are actually OTHER anime that is a whole better will be the day they'll regret spending so much time on this one.
I dont know about one peace havent seen it yet but if you faggot bad mouth naruto I will destroy your life.

just for your naruto and one piece there about even in my opinion. They both have a decent story line and they both have there uniqueness about them. still i wouldn't say there the best i've seen. Although i am more in to the comedy ones.
this anime was kinda hard to get into at first, i mean when i first started watching this when i first got into anime but it wasn't all that grate but i started watching it again recently and it was pretty good, so i would suggest this anime for more experienced viewers.
i agree with boring , they mostly talk for half episode and fight the rest,i know the balance between manga and episodes and have stopped watching one piece at episode 500. i think you understand what he actually means.

One Piece maybe the best example of a manga being ruined after it's storyline becomes extended. This anime/manga maybe the most overrated manga/anime of all time. The characters are stereotypical and cliched, the animation is very cartoonish, these are the main reason I stopped watching this one. I'd really not recommend it to anyone 'cause let's face it you will be in for disappointment.
