Seriously?! what is with all these troll reviews?!
they're like written by kids...
But they did happen to make the mistake of insulting one of the best animes/mangas in anime and manga history!!!
I HONEST THOUGHT THIS ANIME WAS GOING TO BE NOTHING.
I was curious, because i've watched fairy tail- thought it was great, and was curious to see the sensei of hiro mashma- oda sensei's work.
No expectations, nothing. Yes the first few (100) eps were a bit of a drag- but completely necessary to the plot and was interesting to see. Even if they were draggy, it still kept me interested enough to keep going. The characters are so well developed, they all have their own unique personalities, all loveable.
And then the emotions this conveys. UNBELIEVABLE. That what makes it superb. I cried, laughed, felt anxiety and all sorts of emotions- proud to say, THIS is one of my favourites. Seriously, i've never read anything quite so emotional- can't believe THIS is a shounen for aimed at male readers.
Childish? PEOPLE, THIS IS FAR BEYOND CHILDISH. This is life man, mature. Original plot ideas. Great abolutely wonderful plot. AND IT STICKS TO THE PLOT!! Man, their still out to find one piece---> It hasn't strayed AT ALL throughout the anime.
Animation- yeah i know, its not that great, but the character designs are all unique, their image sticks in your head. The animation does nothing to the AWESOME plot line. :P Yeah had to rant here because it was such a wonderful experience. One of the better decisions i've made :')
