Summary:
Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King. One pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil's Fruit and gained rubber powers. Now he and his crew are off to find One Piece, while battling enemies and making new friends along the way.
Alright, so troll reviews do two things- either they create more troll reviews in INNOCENT animes and it esculates into a war, OR it encourages the more sensible people to actually review the anime they think is great, thus increasing its rating and encouraging more people to enjoy it.
I shall pick number two, and finally review this anime, because the troll reviews i've been reading really pissed me off, and i can't really do anything about them.
So anyways one piece, we have one goal. Find one piece, Thats right, the story doesn't steer from that goal- as a good anime should. A storyline, with maybe multiple other storylines intertwine with in, but it should still stick to that goal. Thats one of the things i loved about one piece. A rather solid storyline. Get to one piece eventually. Alright so the 500+ eps are really intimidating, but each of them are neccessary.
And there's luffy. He's character continues to evolve and grow, its really wonderful seeing everyone grow up. Its not over kill with amazingly powerful main characters that just can not lose. No. With each battle, they get more powerful. Simple right? Unfortunetly i know a lot of animes that don't really follow this. Each character is beautiful and engaging in their own perspective.
Art- well its a vintage anime. Its interesting, simple is the best. Love everyone's character design, the author really takes into consideration that people aren't perfect. Not everyone looks grand, and that fine. Makes you really appreciate them even more.
Entertainment- damn best fights ever, that don't last 30 seconds. Love how epic they are.
Anyways, hate you trolls, go stay under your bridges, it'll be better for society :D
