Summary:
One day, Usagi Tsukino, clumsy 2nd-year middle school student (8th grader), stumbles upon a talking cat named Luna. Luna tells her that she is destined to be Sailor Moon, "champion of love and justice", and she must search for the fabled Moon Princess. Usagi finds friends that turn out to be destined senshi as well, and together they fight to save the world from the certain doom brought upon by the Dark Kingdom (Queen Beryl, the generals, Metallia).

ooh i grow up with this anime in german tv and i loved it. I was searching a log time for original languaged episodes and after i found them, i fell in love again.

I used to like this when I was a kid. This anime is hilarious it's very funny how Sabrina gets herself into all kinds of trouble (I watched english dubbed) and the characters have very different personalitys which makes it more interesting. I first thought it would be way too girly for me but then found it very entertaining. I think this anime is for all ages.
Even today 18 years later it's still one great anime.
Animation style is solid throughout the entire series. No obviously terrible drawn episodes as you see in some series
Geared more towards young girls obviously, boys may want to skip it even if it is a classic. Not a lot (if any) fan service included.

This is the first anime i 've started to watch since episode 1 on TV ! Here in Greece, TV didnt play all the episodes, but thats why the internet exists !!
I thing that it is a little bit childish-girlie anime, but i am sure that it reminds us a lot of things of our childhood!
