During a fiercely hot summer in Sotoba, a peaceful and quiet village with a population of 1300 people, a series of bizarre deaths begin to occur. At the same time, a strange family moves into a long abandoned mansion in the region. Hospital dean Toshio Ozaki cannot figure out the cause of death in the deceased, initially suspecting an epidemic. As investigations continue between the hospital staff and the residents, it turns out that the village is being attacked by vampires. |

read a review saying this story is scary..but it's not so scary, and not so bad either..in the end all they did was for nothing...sounds like a bad work from a writer who's at the end of his dateline..a few vamps who wants a normal life by turning the isolated town into a vamp-town, and somewhat near the ending, the villagers became like monsters when they went on mass hunting and killing the vampires and some innocent people..it's entertaining just because i want to know what happens next..

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
