Summary:
Ten year old Chihiro and her parents are moving to a new town and on a car ride they stop at a mysterious forest tunnel. Passing through it they come upon what looks like an abandoned theme park. Wandering off while her parents eat from food they find at a stall, Chihiro meets a called Haku, who warns her to leave. On returning she finds that her parents have turned into pigs and that the park and surroundings are filled with spirits. Aided by Haku, who seems to be 'good' but is a malevolent witch's henchman, the maid Rin, and the boilerman Kamiji, Chihiro finds her in a struggle to survive, save her parents, and return to the human world. This is a movie filled with romance, drama, magic, and at times, horror.

The story line is actully not what grabbed my attention but the director did. I saw his name some where before and when I watched this I actully liked it! Its cheesy in some parts but very well written. It was given a lot of thought and heart. I think that this movie will live on. May be even longer than Harry Potter because of the strong heart given to make this.
