I just finished watching it, and boy.. its a gr8 piece of work. I can't imagine how many drawings and CG work their put into this one devilish superb piece. @Yeah, water can be harnessed as a power source for steam engines, but the author takes the idea of steam to another level of creativity ..well yeah it's been amazing.
surely a big 5 stars from me.

This is one of the best anime movies i've watched. in terms of character and also the shear scope of the movie
it is almost untouchable, and im really surprised it isn't more popular.

for anyone looking for real quality in something they watch cant risk not seeing steamboy.

I happened to watch this at a film festival and it really was worth its salt. The fact that achieved enough acclaim to be show at a non anime film festival says a lot. I loved it from start to finish and left the cinema well satisfied. So if you are looking for an anime movie that ticks all the boxes this is it.
