Summary: Sternbild City is home to people called "Next," who use their special abilities to protect the people as superheroes. These heroes solve cases and save lives so they can wear sponsor logos or acquire "hero points." Their activities are documented on the popular program "Hero TV," which picks the "King of Heroes" in a yearly ranking. The veteran hero Wild Tiger has always preferred to work alone, but now he's been assigned the rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr., who has a different perspective on being a superhero.

Last November, the producer of the hero anime Tiger & Bunny has announced that there would be at least two movies of it. Now, the first one TIGER & BUNNY-The Beginning has been officially confirmed to be released on September 22nd, 2012!


In the first movie, the plot will be tightly tied to the TV anime, and there will be another storyline “Behind Story”, or officially called “HYBRID EPISODE”. In other words, the whole story is likely going to be consisted of the mainline plot and a side story.


The second movie is already under consideration and planned to come out in 2013.
