this being the first anime I saw, offcourse i thought back than it was perfect; today after watching it again i still think it's beautifull. although to the end I think Kamui's character was a little weak (but i guess that was the point) he made it all up in the last episode (but again.. that's the point in the final..) it's beautifully drawn, really perfect.

This is one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen. The story is intense and makes you keep wanting to watch more until the very last episode. The animation is done very well coupled with admirable music. If you are in the mood for a darker, more tragic anime series. This is the anime for you. You'll become engaged with not only the story, but also with the excellent animation.
If you are familiar with CLAMP's works, you have to give this one a try. It's my favorite even though it's older. I just got into the series too and wondered why ( read more)

The reason why I gave a lower rating for the story and entertainment is because the manga is a lot better in those areas. Artwork is extremely captivating and the development of each character's story is more in-depth and sorrowful. I personally recommend you to try the manga first, but the anime is still very good. If you do happen to like the anime a lot, you have to consider reading the manga (although it is incomplete right now). ( show less)

Wow!!! this is my first try watching this anime and it's awesome!!!! as expected from CLAMP all of their creations are the BEST!!!! and when I finally finished watching this anime, I somehow cried in the last two ep of this anime... since the story was really sad because they sacrificed just to protect their beloved once and to tell you the truth I kinda hate that kind of crap and since the plot of this anime is perfect for that kind of scene well I sort of cried hehehe...

Story about group of people involved in the preordained battle over the fate of this world. People that have this great power but still are powerless when it comes to change the destiny of the ones they love and wish to protect. Some of them go with the flow, others still desperately fight and sacrifice everything in order to change their destiny.
Enjoyable story about having all those hopes and wishes despite everything, decorated with beautiful CLAMP-like animation.
Yup, I liked it ;)
