I really want to like Guilty Crown, but I just can't. It showed promise at the beginning, but then we are just served with cliched storyline, weak conflicts, and uninteresting characters. The storyline progressed way too slow, and suddenly things just went into crazy fast mode in episode 11-12 that people just got left wondering what had they done with the first 10 episodes.
I also don't get why some people seem to compare this to Code Geass at all. They are nothing alike. Code Geass has excellent storyline and characters, it has very deep conflict ( read more)

I also don't get why some people seem to compare this to Code Geass at all. They are nothing alike. Code Geass has excellent storyline and characters, it has very deep conflict in politics between countries too. Guilty Crown is a very straight-forward "let's save the world" disguised as pretend-rebellion. ( show less)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
